Accepting New Clients!

Hello! I am a non-binary, queer, neurodivergent and disabled clinician, who looks to provide support which reflects the individuality of each of my clients. Here is a breakdown of how I view and approach my practice:

Therapeutic values:

-  Individuals are resilient and carry the tools needed for their own healing, it is the role of the therapist to facilitate, not direct, this change.

-  The institutions and systems in place were not made for us to thrive, and everyone deserves support in navigating and deconstructing these structures.

Approach

-  I facilitate therapy through a client-centered, equity-based lens, looking to address concerns through creative approaches and somatic expression.

-  I look to create a safer space for individuals to explore their authentic selves, hoping to invite collaboration and create an environment that centers your needs and experiences to best address your therapeutic goals.

Systemic Orientation:

-  I am a systemic therapist, meaning that I approach and conceptualize therapy through the many systems we exist within (i.e. community/family/friends) and the intersections of our identity (i.e. race/gender/disability).

-  Western medical practices are built on colonialist frameworks, and as a clinician I am continuing to learn and implement what it means to deconstruct these ideas within my practice.

As a clinician, I hope to bring a playful, creative and liberatory approach to your care. It is a privilege to do this work and hope to help you on this journey however I am able.
