Life has a way of pulling us away from ourselves. Sometimes it happens through a major loss or trauma. Other times it's years of carrying anxiety, people-pleasing, self-doubt, or simply trying to make it through each day. Whatever brings you here, I believe therapy offers something rare: the opportunity to slow down, become curious, and reconnect with yourself.
I believe our emotions, behaviors, and protective patterns usually make sense when we understand the story behind them. Together, we'll gently explore those stories—not to judge them, but to better understand them and decide whether they're still serving the life you want today.
Clients often describe my style as warm, thoughtful, and collaborative. I want therapy to feel like a place where you don't have to perform, have all the answers, or hide the parts of yourself you've learned to keep out of sight.
I believe healing happens through a genuine therapeutic relationship built on trust, curiosity, and compassion.
I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, relationship concerns, grief, life transitions, and questions about meaning and purpose.
I especially enjoy working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, people from diverse cultural backgrounds, immigrants, and anyone who has spent much of their life feeling misunderstood or like they had to adapt just to belong.
As a bilingual therapist, I offer therapy in both English and Spanish.
My work draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic therapies, mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, and family systems. I'm also deeply interested in the ways dreams, symbols, creativity, and personal meaning can help us better understand ourselves.
Every client is different, so rather than following a single roadmap, I work collaboratively to find an approach that fits your unique experiences, strengths, and goals.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in education, community mental health, medical case management, public health, crisis response, and child welfare. Those experiences continue to shape how I understand resilience, relationships, and the larger systems that influence our lives.
They remind me that healing doesn't happen in isolation—it happens in the context of our stories, our communities, and the connections we build with ourselves and others.
Beginning therapy can feel vulnerable. Whether you're looking to heal from past experiences, navigate a difficult season of life, strengthen your relationships, or simply understand yourself more deeply, I'd be honored to join you in that process. My hope is that therapy becomes a space where you feel genuinely seen, challenged with kindness, and supported as you create a life that feels more authentic and more fully your own.
